Integrative psychiatry means walking the middle path between Western medicine and holistic, complementary treatments. Your treatment may involve prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications to help reduce painful psychological symptoms. The goal may be to discontinue medication once you’ve established reliable skills and support, or it may be indefinite depending on your situation. Whether you’ve taken medication in the past, recently started, or are hoping to discontinue, we will work together to come up with a plan that makes sense for you and eases the suffering you’re going through.

We are trained in several evidence-based psychotherapy modalities and we weave them into our practice, whether we’re doing medication management, integrative psychiatry, or working on lifestyle and habit change. We draw from mindfulness-based approaches and Buddhist psychology, mind-body interventions, CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), and have specialized training in trauma interventions such as EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques).

We offer comprehensive autism/ADHD assessments for adults. Our assessment process is tailored to your unique needs and takes at least 4 hours over multiple sessions. After the assessment, We provide a detailed report with diagnoses and recommendations for support, as well as guidance and resources for accessing services. My approach is LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity-affirming, and We strive to create a compassionate and supportive environment for all of my clients.

We’re a little different from most other psychiatric providers! Here’s how…

Longer Appointment Times are one of the services that we offer as psychiatric providers. These are suitable for patients who need a more in-depth and comprehensive consultation with our experts. Longer Appointment Times can help patients with complex or multiple mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, etc.

• Comprehensive Consultation – 40 minutes: This is the standard option for new patients who want to get a thorough assessment of their mental health condition and receive a personalized treatment plan. This option can also be used for follow-up visits if the patient needs more time to discuss their progress and challenges with their provider.

• Comprehensive Consultation – 60 minutes: This is the extended option for new patients who have more than one mental health issue or need extra time to share their history and concerns with their provider. This option can also be used for follow-up visits if the patient wants to explore different aspects of their mental health or receive additional support and guidance from their provider.

• Comprehensive Consultation – 90 minutes: This is the deluxe option for new patients who have multiple or severe mental health issues or require a comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis from their provider. This option can also be used for follow-up visits if the patient needs intensive psychotherapy or medication management from their provider.
