DeJuanna C. - PMHNP-BC

Health Care Provider

As a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, I provide compassionate virtual mental health care that integrates clinical expertise with authenticity. I specialize in managing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and life transitions, using both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic strategies. My care philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental wellness begins with an open mind, a strong heart, and a healthy body. Clients can expect a safe, respectful space where their story is heard and their wellness is prioritized.

Clients often tell me that our virtual sessions feel just as warm and present as meeting face-to-face. I create a space where honesty is encouraged, vulnerability is respected, and healing is nurtured. My communication style is direct yet compassionate, and I am intentional about fostering a connection that honors each person’s values, culture, and goals. I view our work as a collaborative journey toward clarity, resilience, and balance.

During our first visit, I will conduct a thorough assessment to understand the full mental, emotional, and physical picture. From there, we will co-create a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs—this may include medication, supportive therapy, stress reduction strategies, and integrative approaches. Follow-up sessions are structured for continuity and flexibility, ensuring your care evolves with you. My approach combines the convenience of telepsychiatry with the depth of in-person care, always grounded in a whole-person framework: open mind, strong heart, healthy body.
